Just as the season is changing....so are we!  The craft beer movement is on the rise.  The Brewers Association reports that nationally between 2013 & 2014 there was an 18% increase in breweries in the US.  Locally, West Virginia craft breweries are also increasing; double the amount of craft breweries in 2014.  So to bring that experience to the Yacht Club we have increased our draft beer selection by ten fold.  

With the focus on local WV craft brew - we are sampling, researching and asking craft beer lovers what their favorites are.  Be sure to stop by often and check out our selection of 20 beers on tap!

Although Oktoberfest officially starts the third weekend in September and ends the first Sunday in October - like everything else; we like to put our own spin on things.  Oktoberfest runs all month long at the Fairplain Yacht Club.  Great drink and food specials all month long!

Welcome!  We are going to try something new!  A Blog!  I am not very familiar with Blogs but I thought it would be a great idea to start sharing what's going on at the Fairplain Yacht Club with our great Yacht Club Members!  We are always cooking up new ideas, events and fun times and want to share them with you!
